I have the buds 2 and your sample does not play the same as your sample and its the same song...

I've been hearing quite a lot of good things about the Audeze Maxwell, would love to see it compared to sony XM4 or XM5

Comparing MTW4 vs Sony: no word about sound quality. Instead, mention about call quality, case size and other less critical features. Come on !

I have xm4, earfun, liberty 3 pro, soundpeats capsule and momentum. Recently picked these up and these buds kill them all in terms of sound. It is a sleeper ear bud, that nobody expects or talks about. I use a 3rd party EQ app and these ear buds sounds very good and bass thumps like subwoofer almost minus the rattles.

I had the Sony WF-1000XM3, then XM4, and then Sennheiser MTW3. Case-wise, yes the Sony XM4 and XM5 have a smaller case. But, it's a plastic case as well. If you want to keep it scratch-free, you can buy a silicone case cover. But this adds a few millimeters of thickness on all sides. The Sennheisers, in my experience, don't need such protection, because the case is covered in a fabric, and it seems very resistant to wear and tear.

Thanks for the tips. I used the "Find Equaliser" feature and ended up, after a couple of manual tweaks, with 0/0/+2/+4/+6. Took your suggestion for clear bass on +1 though. :) Now I can blast my metal even more effectively.

I started getting this issue about a month or two ago except it's my left earbud. The left earbud lasts about 45 minutes before dying while the right still has 50-60% battery left. Pretty disappointing.

More microphones for more wind noice you mean! Also thinner padding and shallower on the ears and headband! I really disliked the fit compared to my 4. I brought them back and decided to use my 4's longer.. form factor is a regression from the 4!

I'd say bye jabra, you will not be missed. I have the elite 7 pro and I changed phone, which now google assistant does not work. Microphone placement is ass, nobody can hear me or understand, so I have to take them off when i get a phone call. Also $280 for the elite 10 gen2 when the sony wf1000xm5 are $300

I really just want these for work, last time I had a pair of earbuds I had them on one of those cases with a carabiner and when I got home my left earbud was nowhere to be found, I guess “Nothing” is better than nothing

I think it's a technical marvel, but sorta like the Vision Pro, The question for most people is, what for? (Ang it's not the iPad falling over. You need a bigger lap 😀).

I've come to notice that americans are very soft. They don't know what bass is. Its like they've never been to a concert. Not even the xm4 have an impressive bass.

Actually you talk about enterprise space, In my Big corporate company if i need work from home head sets , web cams or conference microphones i have to order it through a portal and they offer a lot of Jabra products , now i get to see the prices that my business unit is charged when i order these and it is much higher than what you and i pay for them at retail. This means the margins must be a lot higher in the enterprise space because "big companies" don't "shop around" like private shoppers do. Now the prices for basic headsets are in the range of high end premium Bose products without the Same level of quality. Its no surprise they are getting out of the retail space because retail is generally a race to the bottom in thier market segment. They will never be able to command a premium price tag like Sony, Apple, Bose, Sonos. They are competing with Anker, AliExpress, Temu which cannot be profitable.

Never had a Jabra product, was going to buy the elite 10 cause of all the reviews but now im conflicted on getting gen 2 or go with the gen 1. Mainly just waiting on your reviews to see if the sound quality is better or worse then gen 1. I'm assuming the buds themselves are the same size and shape.

Can it hooked up to a receiver or an integrated amp ?

I have been using XM4 for last 2 & 1/2yrs (After watching Aeron reviews of XM4 back 2021) and have my love for those increasing over any other buds I use. Only lacking was no multiploint connection which they updated and I was really happy. Unfortunately due to an accident my XM4 Buds n case got water damage and now only one bud works while the other and the case are dead. Now I am thinking if I should Buy the MUCH CHEAPER XM4 again or go for the new XM5 which don't really have any game changing new features. I have big ears so I don't have the need for smaller buds. If only I had opportunity to check sound quality of both XM4 & XM5 physically , that would have been wonderful.

And how does the Nashville compare to the Emberton II, particularly in sound staging and distortion at volume levels between 60-90%? Cheers.

I'm really sad to hear this. Jabra has always been great and one of the first to offer small earbuds with low profile that were also comfortable to wear. Physical buttons that I really like in a world of touch buttons, it's really a pity

I am a Sony fan and I tried the xm5 because my elite 85t failed. I was so disappointed with the Sony... The bass and the ANC were so poor! I returned them a.nd bought the elite 10 from Jabra e they are so good, a better sound than Sony and so comfortable! I would pay 500€ for this! Just waiting for your review on gen2 to buy them. It can be better? Please don't die Jabra, you have done an excellent job with this earphones!

In terms of ANC which earbuds are better the jlab epic lab edition or the Sony LinkBuds s? Also when will we get the review for the JBL live beam 3😅

I've had 2 pairs and both failed with1month They are truly awful. Sounds poor, even for the cheap price. PLEASE don't waste your money, idc what you tubers say. They are objectively crap.

Confused by your conclusion. The recording clearly shows the XM5's ANC seems to be more effective here across the frequency spectrum. There's especially a ton of low-mids still left in the Sonos recording. Did the samples get mixed up? If not, and it's still in question... run the recordings through a spectrum analyzer, it will show the XM5 quieter across the board the whole time. What do you think could explain your opposite subjective impression? Genuine question.

With the Sonos Ace, does Dolby Atmos only work with the sonos arc? Or Can I pair the Sonos Ace with my PC over blue tooth and us Dolby Atmos sound that way?

The ULT had the second best microphone. And it was close IMO. It has a more warmer sound than the XM5. But not as clear. The ULT 2 mode just sounds stupid. I wish they would have had the default no ULT setting to be more flat and clear and then ULT 1 add a little more bass and sub-bass. But I think I would just EQ and lift the upper mids and treble a little and skip the ULT 1,2 settings. Basically closer to XM5 sound, but cheaper price. I am mainly going to use them with 360 spatial sound on my Bravia XR90 TV for movies and shows via streaming to get 3D sound. I am testing them. Will return if disappointing. I tried the Bravia Theater U. It was OK, but lacking bass. I have a better surround setup otherwise. But want a better solution.

Liberty 3 WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE! When i got them, I could still hear everything even when i adjusted my settings. Yes i put on active noise cancelling but also they got the worst sound quality for music! It sounded like i was listening on cheap headphones! I cant trust earbuds after this literally a waste of my money /:
